To the Skies: The Journey of a Thousand Years

To the Skies follows Jessica Rowin and Cassandra Echelon. They are members of an elite secret organization that was created to combat the evils of the world within the Empire. This is the story of their adventures and that of the members of their party. They are members of the Dragonriders and their goal is to overthrow the government of the Emperor and create a peaceful world where everyone can live happily. During her adventures Cassandra meets Luneth a summoner in the Village of Souls whom she creates a bond with, Ayano Kogi a member a royal house, Taylor Larson an assassin for the Imperial Government, her partner Vekoma and her dragon guardian Artimus. Together they vow to defeat the Emperor. Thus the second chapter of the Journey of a Thousand Years begins and the real battle has just begun?

The two jeeps finally near another city. With it becoming night out they stop and set up for the night. Tay briefs them about the bugs in the area so Cassandra prepares food and such for them and Ayano, Taylor and Vekoma take shifts guarding. This was much better then the other night that Vekoma was basically guarding by himself.

Vekoma just got off his shift of guarding. He lets Tay know its her turn then he goes to sit down in their jeep. He doesnt go to sleep though, he got enough of that on the way there. He just rests and watches the others.

its a good thing luneth wasn't told to keep gaurd because he would of gotten bored easily he moves a bit closer to cass though

Taylor takes her shift guarding just looking around. Nothing happened. Cass looks at Luneth and Ayano soon takes over to Taylor. Again nothing happens. Tonight seemed to be inactive for the bugs.

Vekoma continues to people watch and slightly daydream about something thats still fresh in the back of his mind. He eventually gets bored of watching everyone and walks over to an empty area to practice his swordplay.

Taylor comes over to Vekoma after preparing things for the trip ahead of them. Cass looks at Luneth "Hi." Ayano finishes preparations for their group to leave as well. Taylor looks at Vekoma "So how long have you worked for the Empire?"

"7 years, on and off..." Vekoma responds while continuing to practicing his swordplay, he stops though noticing that people are preparing to leave. "Is it time to go?" Vekoma asks her.

"As soon as they are ready." Taylor says simply.

Vekoma nods and sheathes his weapons. He goes back over to the jeep to rest again and watch the others.

Taylor gets in the car and looks at Vekoma for a moment looking back outside. Ayano gets in the other jeep. She looks back at Cass and Luneth "We ready?"

Vekoma glances over at Taylor right as shes looking at him. He still doesnt say anything and goes to look out the window faster than she does. Hes getting some strange feelings right now, the full body dark knight armor does well to hide most of his body language.

Vekoma senses something and looks back over at Taylor and notices shes closer to him. Vekoma could feel his heart beat a little faster as he looks at her. There was an odd staredown until Vekoma finally said something. "So were here..."

Vekoma could just feel the sexual tension. Those feelings from the other night are resurfacing again. He continued to stare at her. She could probably see in his eyes that he cared for her and liked her. "So...now what..." he says. He could feel his heart beating harder now, he takes off his helmet because it was getting hot in more ways than one.

She sits on his lap turning around holding him close snuggling with him staring into his eyes happily she again puts her head on his shoulder. Her hair was down and he can smell her perfume. She seemed happier then normal.

Vekoma was starting to get hotter in his armor with her being this close. He continues to hold her close, she could probably hear his strong heartbeat through his bio armor. Her perfume was starting to get to him and turn him on.
