Runabout A-27
DFS Lavie; Shuttlebay
April 23rd 4566
“This is Runabout A-27 to DFV Lavie requesting landing clearance.” The pilot of the shuttle said over the comm to the tiny ship that they were approaching. It was even smaller than Shadow Fire was and Alex thought that was small. This was her time on a ship other than Shadow Fire in a long time. She was also accustomed to the way her crew did things; it would be odd seeing things be done completely different and none the less under people she did not even know. Alex was in charge of handling Hukari’s new investigation into Faith Special Forces after all Darien Sheridan was always a dick to other people; he never was quite as much of an ass to her though but then again neither was his brother; it was almost like they liked her or something… Maybe this meant Faith people would be less punitive to a ship containing her so at least the Lavie and Alex could hopefully investigate in peace but being that her luck was never that good she didn’t count on that.
“So Warrant Officer know anything about this ship; I know it was commanded by Misuki Raion but anything else?”
“Not a whole lot Captain Werner just that it has not been refit since its launch”
“So it should be coming up for a refit soon then”
“I’d imagine so ma’am.”
The Lavie’s AI grants the landing clearance on the left shuttle bay citing that there is something else in the other one.
Upon landing the Warrant Officer opens the door and exits allowing Alex to exit. She was in a Delta Force Uniform for once. Ross entered and glared for a moment then stopped “… Captain… Well to what do I owe the pleasure of seeing you on this ship; wasn’t the Shadow Fire still out in the Rim?”
“No; we returned to Earth and the ship was mothballed; I’ve been working with command for a short bit building a case with the President and Misuki against FSF… As much as Sheridan was never much of an ass to me he did try to kill you a lot and he’s tried to blow up Earth and poor Misuki a few too many times to really be allowed to command any military force at all much less something the size of Faith; from what we are being told apparently his men think they are equally as untouchable as he is… So what is on out here because we have not been able to pin anything specifically on his people yet?”
“One of his ships was experimenting with some kind of new mech technology; we not exactly certain of a whole lot about it yet but we recovered it…. Our Captain is with the pilot and the mech now; it has some sort of AI… Let me show you the way.” Ross says as he and Alex head for the Mechbay.
Upon arriving in the room everyone had already left but Ross leaves Alex to her devices anyway. Alex walks up to RINZ looking over the machine. She lightly taps on the mech “So Jim tells me your intelligent enough to hold a conversation?”

Risa continues to attempt to heal him even if he says it won't work. The medical staff eventually stop her from hurting herself and take her to a biobed to rest.
