Personality & Traits
General Overview: Wren is particularly upbeat and enthusiastic, seemingly giddy and almost ditzy. She's always eager to learn new things and meet new people. She enjoys touch and taste, seemingly a more evolved sense than humans. While friendly, polite and energetic, like all her people, she can and will fight to defend herself if attacked or shown hostility, and can use her telekinesis and photokinesis to great effect with a unique martial arts technique. She's slow to anger and not able to hold a grudge, easily forgiving offenders who have wronged her.
Strengths & Weaknesses: She is bold, hardworking, extroverted, forward and very friendly, fearlessly approaching anyone with the interest of friendship; She would even approach an Undine or a Borg without hesitation. There is nothing she isn't willing to try or undertake, ever eager to learn new things. The drawback to her fearlessness is the reckless disregard to potential danger from eating food that might be toxic to her delicate body, or touching something that even a Vulcan would want to have gloves with before handling. She's also extremely naive and innocent, to the point of denial of the existence of the darker side of life.
Ambitions: Wren's hope is to share her culture and learn of new ones, and to forge alliances and friendships that will bring them peace and joy and prosperity across the entire universe. #Lofty goals.
Hobbies & Interests: Before learning of technology, Wren was a princess and had very simple pasttimes and activities. Harvesting fruits, collecting shells to make headdresses or necklaces, shaping stone and crystals with steel tools. Once the Fae'lan came into contact with advanced tech, they quickly adapted, and now have a bustling port where Wren often studies and helps to innovate the ship designs and interiors. She enjoys reading and learning, and then applying the Fae'lan sense of art and decoration to the new ships and technology they were gaining.
Life History and Relationships
Family: Wren is the seventh child and daughter of a family of fifteen. She has her father, mother, grandmother and uncles and aunts that number around seventy-nine, with nearly a thousand over cousins. They all live near each other.
History: While primitive, the Fae'lan have a form of royalty, of which Wren is a princess, but approximately seven hundred thousand, nine hundred and sixty-fifth in line for the proverbial throne. Their race is actually descended from a mixture of Humans and Alata, the latter who were often known as the Radiant, for their photokinetic and bioluminiscent abilities. Thanks to their human ancestry, the Fae'lan are significantly more durable than their Radiant ancestors, but are still more delicate than humans. In turn, they also possess telekinetic and photokinetic gifts, allowing them to move objects from a distance so long as it isn't beyond twice their weight. They are more lightweight than they appear. And their skin tones are hard to identify due to their bioluminescence and their emotions constantly showing by the colour of the light around their faces.
Education: Wren, like all Fae'lan is highly anachronistic and adapts quickly even to advanced technology, despite having a primitive background. She can pick up languages, both written and spoken very quickly.
Languages: She can speak Ent'fa, the Fae'lan native language, along with Pakled, Klingon, Romulan, English, and Vulcan so far.
