Erin was finished in the lounge and headed from there after the meeting to a secluded place that she was shown by someone; who she couldn't remember but it had a nice view. She thought about the day she and Sarissa had and everything else over the past few weeks. She had been getting more and more sentimental about all this and the loss of Brandon. What triggered all this though; she usually was never this stuck on emotions about someone or something. She wanted her damnedist to stop the bad things and fix everything... But the fact was she was unable to do that. She couldn't save those who died even if she wanted to... Sure time travel existed but fucking with history would break off everything. She assumed this was why her original superiors in temporal security even existed to prevent modification of the timeline and creation of additional branch offs. Quantum mechanics was complicated and she had basically just researched it as a fangirl in the past from watching TV shows, anime and playing games. She probably had not even broke the surface of the actual theories especially what they would know in this time. She finally pulled out a cigarette this seriously warranted a smoke... She needed to calm down; she was getting far too deep into this.

Sarissa walked up and saw Erin. She wanted to frown at the blatant disregard for own health. She walked and and smacked her on the back of the head with her open palm.(edited)

Erin somehow expected that and just smirked. "C'mon cancer is cured, your medicine could fix everything... Everybody has their vice Miss Chocolate..."
She laughed
"Thanks for the hit though... It pulled my mind out of time hell..."
"If I keep being this into all this time mind stuff I might just join the ships mad scientist brigade..." She said as she blew smoke in Sarissa's face.
"I blame you... you've made me think more..."
She poked her on the nose.

"Chocolate is healthy, even for Vulcans. Not so your noxious burning plant." Sarissa offered. "As for your mind. You are welcome."

"Ha... ha ha ha!!! Chocolate in certain forms is healthy only in small amounts... Even the doctors and scientists from my time knew that... So there... You are still a lush... So therefore its unhealthy!" She winks at her. "Lets go somewhere else... So this ship has time japanese warrior man... His magic while annoying needs to be controlled then we can just use him to kill Darius... I wonder why nobody else has thought of that... Just send magic boy after Darius..."

Sarissa commented. "I take it back. Your mind is still broken." Sarissa commented.(edited)

"... My mind is broken... Nah... See if my mind is broken... Then you all are insane..."
"You all have more loss than I do; I've only witnessed my lover die... The rest of you have seen loads of death... Tell me since I've never asked and I assume you would close this part of yourself off... Have you seen anyone you cherish die?"

"Yes. I have." Sarissa said calmly.

After reaching her ship, Sashi idly heads to the bridge.

"Since we are both talking about this now; you obviously know mine... Brandon MacCloud my ex-fiancé from Earth... Died in what people call an accident... Considering FSF wants us dead I highly doubt that but you know without evidence... Anyway two questions... If I asked you to pledge yourself to me; even though I know you already have your human male what would you say and the second question... So... who did you lose?" She asked this while messaging Kirin to see when she could meet with him about his powers; she read the reports but seeing how he was locked now and many magical specialists had sealed his powers away until he was better trained she wanted to see what could be done with him if he were better trained for herself. She also wondered how long repairs on the Murasashi would take... That reminded her; she VX'ed Hitomi as well then set her mind aside to focus on Sarissa.

"Your mind is scattered, and you are going in many directions. I do not believe this is the proper venue." She said

"Well of course my mind is scattered with someone like you around it can't be anything but; just your presence unlocks my mad love..." She hugs Sarissa tightly. "You make my soul scream out upon the universe to proclaim its undying love..."
She comes out of her hug. "Okay maybe I am laying it on a bit thick... SO where did you want to go?"

"I do not require a destination."Sarissa said, then added. " A drive. I have not driven a vehicle in over a year." Sarissa said.(edited)

"Um... wait.. you wanna go back down to the planet... Didn't we jut get back like four hours ago... I --- Actually I wouldn't mind that super awesome mansion again... That place... It reminded me a little of my adoptive family's house except lots more ritzy... All those servants... oh the life of the rich!!!"She had an unrealistic almost trancelike glee that overtook her. "Hey... lets invite the Murasashi's AI... "

"No, the holodeck would suffice. Something with a good power to weight ratio. Perhaps an open air coupe." Sarissa commented. "Unless we want to make and beam down a vehicle."

"So you don't like driving those old jeeps like Hitomi does... Heh... Another reason I like you... ... How can she like... do that... All the grease and maintaining old cars is so dirty and... Nope..." Erin shook her head no repeatedly. "Nope... Completely nasty... I'd rather it be clean..."

"Lets just go somewhere else... Somewhere I can smoke where I won't get lectured about it..."

"I am lecturing you on it." Sarissa pointed out.

Reaching the bridge, Sashi sits down on the Main AI chair and spins around, contemplating on the best action to take now.

"Didn't I defeat you with my witty retort though... and so what do you think about asking Sashi to use one of her ships cars; those jeeps have to be better maintained... or doesn't the Lavie have two... Why cant we just use one of the cars we have on one of the ships..."

"You are spoiled. As much as you claim to need adventure., this simple need for speed and connection to a machine escapes you." Sarissa said.

"Hey... I'm not that much of a rich snob... I don't mind fast stuff or cars... its just the... um maintaining ... of them... so dirty... Didn't you ever wonder why I keep my living space so spotless..."
"Anyway are we gunna go or not... I said we could..." She inches away as she puts out her cig.

"If we can acquire a suitable vehicle." Sarissa offered.

"Alright..." Erin messages Sashi to see if she is interested in going planetside with them and bringing a car.

Startled out of her reverie, Sashi falls out of the chair and tries to stand up..
"Ugh, wish that would stop happening," Sashi mutters to herself as she staggers to the elevator down towards the ships highway.

Kirin sees a new message alert show up while he is woundering around the planet seeing the Carnage of the spiders and tring to figure out how to permanently stop the assaults

Murasashi asks where they want the warthog delivered.

Kirin reply to the message, "when ever you are available I will be on planet"

Erin gives her the coordinates where she plans to beam them down as she sends the request to operations. "I got us a car and a friend is joining us if you don't mind?" She asked Sarissa.

Once at the hanger, Sashi attaches the warthog to the pelican via it's vehicle magnets.

Erin beams herself and Sarissa down to the planet waiting for their ride.

Erin and Sarissa arrived at the planet after being transported down Erin gets a message from Yuka. She would need to go to the trial. She would have to play with Sarissa and Sashi later. When Sashi and her jeep were teleported down Erin said "Um... Actually I just got a message from the Commodore that they will be continuing the trial. Would you two like to come... After its over then we can play?" She asked the two.
As this was happening guards took Charlie out of the cell as happened before. Yuka also dragged the half asleep Aidan along to the room where the trial was again fo rthe second day of the trial.

Charlie walks calmly.

"Does it involve politics, and do I have to be there?" Sashi asks.

"It is only if you want to be there... You would just be there to watch... basically I'm asking so you are not left high and try with no one to do anything eith... You seem lonely..." erin said to her.

"Sure. I guess. Better than sitting around and not doing anything."

"Sarissa?" erin asked.

Scott randomly starts playing with the tardis tent to see if there was a way they could make a setting to hold the space cannon
"Yes, Little One." She replied

"Okay." Erin contacts back to the ship and the transporter team brings the group back. They have Sashi's jeep sent back to her ship and everyone sent to the Lavie. Erin then leads the group to the trial room as the guards bring Charlie back to the trial room at seat him. Erin and the others arrive just before this happens and erin takes her seat at they bring Charlie in and seat him.

Yuka looks over at her. "You are late Lt. Mizriki... None the less however you are here. Alrighty... Looks like we have enough people to continue this." Yuka bangs the gavel. "The sentencing trial for Charlie Levittson is continuing. Presiding over the hearing is Commodore Yuka Layton; myself, witnesses Lt. Col. Aidan Thornton, Lt. Sarissa Slain, Lt. Kiyoko Ino, Deputy Director of the ship Murasashi Sashi and JAG representative Edwin Felsker. During yesterdays proceedings the accused pled guilty to counts two thru five. Today sentencing was supposed to occur. After further discussing this matter with the JAG representative it is further advised to the accused that he seek legal counsel.. Lt. Commander Levittson do you have any statements to make and also would you like representation... The court advises that you seek such before pleading guilty however if you would like to decline representation you may do so." Yuka said as Erin typed up the proceedings and was also recording them for further transparency. Kiyo had attended but Hikaru was busy. She was happy that her brother was happy and hoped she could see him later after the trial. She was here more for moral support than anything even if Charlie did not remember her.

As Scott was tinkering Seph just watched outside as he entered the tardis.

"I'll take representation." Charlie says calmly.

Aidan at least this time was more prepared, having a large coffee and the a carafe for its replenishment need be
Sarissa had a padd and made her own notes. in the background.

"Alright; is there anyone in particular that you would like to represent you or would you liek the court to appoint a representative?" Yuka asked.

this looks like we may be able to store the cannon now how do we fire it

"Well, why not Erin Mizriki?"

“hey seph think we can make what could equate to a wormhole window to shoot the cannon at and place an exit window like at the front of the ship?” Scott said.

"You want the recorder to represent you?" Yuka asked looking to Aidan and then the JAG officer..

Seph shrugged. "Well I don't think our transporters could move it... it is too big... I wonder if the ship has any timespace-wormhold specialist people; we could just shove the thing in an artificial wormhole... that sounds like a bad idea next to a planet though."

"Eh. She's fun, and dependable. Either way I don't know any lawyers off the top of my head to represent me." Charlie said

Edwin, the JAG Officer spoke. "I think Doctor Slane would make a better choice."

"Then I'll choose Slane." Charlie said

"Sarissa Slane... Doctor would you accept appointment; do you have any legal background?"
Yuka asked

Sarissa was about to protest but she also knew how things work. "No formal legal background, but this is not my first hearing. I would be willing."

"Alright; would you like a recess to confer with the defendant?"

well this is one mome i wish we had the asshole jim to help us....lazy ass Q

"Olend... couldn't we just go ask them to come here... and what about timecop asshole?" Seph asked Scott

"No, I have read the transcripts. A short minute with my client should suffice." Sarissa offered.

"Alright. Granted. the hearing will resume in five minutes." Yuka said.

Sarissa walked over Charlie. "Are you sure about this Sir? My advice to you, since you'd plead guilty would be to let me see if they will drop the first charge and perhaps ask for leniency from the court.."

“you know what fuck it lets open a wormhole to put the cannon in the tent… i hated daniels he basically wanted to make me his bit to make my ship appear” Scott said

"Sure sounds good to me." Seph Said

Yuka takes coffee from Aidan's container.

Sarissa straightened her uniform a bit and turned back towards the bench. "Your Honors, my client is many things, but a collaborator with the enemy is not one of them. I ask you to consider that the first charge was written in haste and anger at their own mistakes and looking for a scapegoat. Therefore, in the interest of expediency, as well as fairness to my client, I suggest the first charge be removed in exchange for leniency for the other four."

Yuka nods after she resumes the trial. "I already spoke on the conspiracy charge. As far as leniency... I was already going to act with fairness on the matter... Mr. Felsker has the MSA JAG representatives have anything to say on the matter or any comments from the command teams involved?" Yuka asked.

"This is most irregular. In fairness to all parties, I think a compromise is in order. What I propose is a loss of one rank, which would mean the loss of his command. I do not see a way around it, considering the multiple charges against the defendant." Felsker said, looking to Yuka and Aidan.
'The defendant's actions and disregard for proper protocol demand remedial training." Felsker added.

"A permanent assignment to the Lavie as the strategic operations officer where he can still use his skills just no command authority.... Well as much command authority as a Lieutenant would have... Alright unless the MSA JAG communicates with you this seems appropriate Anything else you or your counsel would like to say Lt. Commander?" Yuka asked.

"I've had worse."

The doors to the room opens and a woman enters the room dressed in an Alliance naval duty uniform, holding a briefcase in her right hand. "Commodore Layton?"

One of the marshals providing security verifies who she is and allows her entry to the proceedings. "Please identify yourself and your purpose for interfering in the proceedings."

Felsker offered. "This better be good, it smacks of contempt of court."

The woman nods, "I am Lieutenant Kaladria Morgan , I am the Judge Advocate General officer for the Vanguard, sirs." she says in a respectful tone. "My apologies for being late, I was in consultation with my superiors."(edited)

Felsker offfered, "And?!"

"Step to the bench and explain further." Yuka said.

Lieutenant Morgan nods and approaches the bench. "The Alliance wishes the court to understand first that we're not on a witch hunt and as such by order of President Rokk Astrovich, the charge of conspiracy is formally withdrawn." she said as she opened her briefcase to present two PADDs to both Layton and Felsker.
After having done that, Morgan continues with "However, by the same token the rest of the charges stand."

Felkser said, "While I appreciate the heads up, your lack of knowledge about punctuality makes me take more of a dim view of the charges in general. So I am ready to pass sentencing if Commodore Layton and Lt Colonel Thornton have nothing to add."

Morgan nods, "Again I can only offer my apologies but my president himself wanted to go over the charges complete with all of the evidence. He wanted to make sure that everything was properly filed, sir."

Felsker immediately replied , "if the charges were filed correctly, there would be no revisions. Perhaps a little delay next time in sending up charges would be something to mention Lieutenant Morgan."

"Does anyone have anything else to add..." Yuka asked the room.

Sarissa stood, "I do Commodore." Getting close to the bench, she said, "In defense of my client. the actions of the Vanguard's Captain put the entire fleet in jeopardy unless the enemy just decided to start shooting at ships in orbit. "
"That caused my client to take actions, though he understands that his actions should have been more thoughtful and presented from the Flagship."
"Please take that into consideration and I would like it added to official record" Sarissa added then sat down.

Yuka nods. "At this point I will close for deliberations. sentencing will begin after deliberations." She then hits the gavel and lets everyone stay taking the two jag officers with her into a small side office.

Morgan followed Yuka silently.

Aidan followed after draining and refilling his mug.

“Computer where is daniels?” Scott asked.

A few minutes after leaving the three come back out and Yuka returns to her seat. "Lt. Commander please step forward."

Charlie steps forward

"Charge one has been dismissed. On charges two, three, four and five you have been found guilty as per your plea. You will be stripped of command of the Sentinel due to risking the lives of your fellow officers and the group at large through unbecoming conduct of a commander. While your actions would have been justified if you were on the Lavie the confusion and failure to follow instructions along with the breakdown of the leadership structure of the fleet during the ensuing communications caused undue risk to everyone involved. That said we will be demoting you to Lieutenant and be subjecting you to double duty shifts on the Lavie where you will be the Chief of Strategic operations helping the tactical and security teams in planning fleet-level movements, ship tactics and such. With that and time served you will be released form the brig at this point and allowed to get your belongings form the Sentinel. You will be required to report to the Lavie for start of your duty shift at 0800 tomorrow. Is this understood?"

"Aye sir."

"Court is adjourned." Yuka said as she hit the gavel one last time.
She then takes the record pads form the JAG officers and takes them. Erin finishes recording everything that happens and then secures the file and transmits it. The marshals release Charlie and everyone is allowed to leave.

After the last of them filed out, Aidan blew out air through his nearly closed mouth. "What a clusterfuck. You realize that some of the blame lays on us, right?"Aidan said to Yuka(edited)

Morgan stays near by where Yuka and Aidan is, still holding her briefcase.

"It lies with all of the people in the command structure; we did not leave myself, you or Erin on the ship to command it... Even Lumi was down on the planet... If someone from command was here yeah this would not have happened likely..." Yuka said to Aidan.
Yuka dismissed Erin who got up and took Sarissa and Sashi back with her. Eveyrone else had left. It was now just one marshal, Yuka, Aidan and the two JAG officers. The Federation JAG officer took the documents form Yuka "Commodore you have too much to do already... I will handle the sentencing documents and reports." Felsker said as he took the work and left.

Aidan sank slowy into a nearby chair, still a bit sore from the explosion. At least he was less sore than yesterday.

"So anything else you need Lt. Morgan?" Yuka asked as the computer told Scott that Daniels was in his quarters.

The young woman nodded as she walked over and placed her briefcase on a table, opened it and then withdrew a slim black PADD which she then handed to the Commodore. "I was asked by the president also to hand this to you. It's access to our intelligence network for your flag chief intelligence officer." she explained.
Morgan kind of looked embarrassed. "Seems like all I've been doing today is serving as a gloried courier"

"Sounds like what I do most of the time... Glorified pencil pusher..." Yuka said to her as she chuckled.

"I want a nap with my two gals. Just saying."Aidan offered

Yuka laughed. She then got up and took the information from Morgan and left heading to her office to have the information sent.

Erin after taking the other two with her she sent to the planet and sent the jeep there too... If they wanted to have fun then that is what they would do now.

Erin was in her office while Yuka, Emily and Aidan were off doing their thing. Being forced to remain in command annoyed her but someone had to do it and it may as well be her. At least she wasn't on the bridge. Yuka even let her use her office... That much was odd... At least she was not trapped in the ready room either. She saw why Yuka had a separate office; it meant less people annoyed her or got in the way. Erin looked over the log of things happening on the ship. Owain had not given the command staff a report on what he was building... She needed a gun built; she wondered if he was that kind of scientist... Could he build weapons... Probably not but it would not hurt to ask. Maybe Koto had a thought on this. She should just pull everyone she wanted to talk to in a room or would that be a good idea... She did it anyway in her impulsiveness. She messaged Owain, Koto Hikaru and Sashi to have them come to the CO's Office.

Bored out of her mind and with nothing to do, Sashi replies that she's on her way and makes her way to the hanger bay.

Erin replies over VX message; you know there is such a thing as a teleporter... Even I know that and I'm not native to this time... Ari" She then coms over to the transporter room and has then beam her over to the office.
"So much more efficient this way... Walking is overrated..."
She said as she laughed lightly.

Owain turns off his welding tool in his lab lifting up his goggles sighing a bit as he comes to CO's office still in his rather messy labcoat and safety gloves

"Let the boys walk" Erin said

Koto was enjoying his lap of the ship when he paused mid run to see a message from Erin. "Well better double back." He spins around and jogs the other way. Nearby crewmembers watched. One of them spoke. "Everyone is crazy here, everyone." The crewmember shook his head and went back to moping a perfectly clean floor.

Sashi giggles at that. "Going through the motion sometimes is comforting."

"I won't deny that... Plus it gives you time to think... At least for me it does... I blame Sarissa for making my mind more clear; now I actually take time to think about things sometimes... Want anything?" She asked as she stood up stretching and walked over to the replicator making a cup of coffee. She was in her black Trinity Uniform; she had never actually warn her black command one yet. She looked like a badass in the black overcoat that came with it with her pistol and sword on her belt. She was not in a skirt which was not normal for her. (They look like a combination of the full metal alchemist one and one form Babylon 5 in season 3)

"Dark roast, please." Sashi said

Once Owain entered she turned to him her auburn hair was tied at the back; also not normal for her. "I don't believe we have been formally introduced Doctor... I'm Lt. Erin Mizriki. Most people just call me Ari." I'm the head of security and technically third in command o fthe ship and fleet." The 22 year old girl said to him as her hazel eyes shined in the light reflecting from the sun through the windows bounding off the metallic wall giving them this oddly charming light. She then asked him "Would you like anything?" She then got Sashi her coffee.

Koto continues jogging while humming some catchy tune. He was wearing grey jogging bottoms and a grey hoodie. He arrived at the CO's office and turned to do a pose outside with his arms out wide as if it were some kind of victory.

Carefully taking the coffee, Sashi slowly enjoys the coffee with a happy face.

Underneath his once white labcoat were clothes more meant for a hot summer day a tanktop and blue jeanes he takes off his safety gloves since he was pretty sure they wouldn't be needed his voice calm and curt "Coffee, black, strong and in a large mug if you would be so kind."

As the door automatically opened for Koto Erin stares at him doing his pose "And you call this crew insane..." She sighs. She then gets Owain the coffee as he ordered it. She then hands him the mug. "Insane coffee manic... Let me guess you want tea or something... and come in the office before you rub off on the rest of us and we start doing fucked up anime poses because this pose has been in our family line for 80 generations..." erin returns to her desk turns out to the window.

Owain tilts his head back and just drinks all the coffee like a man who has been pulling an all nighter for several nights

Koto smiles. "Ah that was a good run." He enters. "I'll take water."

Erin gets him water.

Hikaru had been late to the CO's office, having been elsewhere before he had gotten the message, as he walked in to see the odd gaggle of people he wasn't sure what was going on.

"Um... whats up?"

erin turns around when Hikaru enters. "Hey... So everybody take a seat... and if I make an idiot of myself just blame Yuka... I'm not exactly use to being in charge or being this popular... everyone usually hates me...." She smirks at the end of her statement. She really does look different in this uniform. The pants we really not her but the different look was cute and did make her look awesome.

Owain takes a seat his hands clasped together as he sits paying firm attention

"I like you." Hikaru said with a slight amount of affection behind it though he was also busy finding his seat, he did quickly grab a glass of water before he did.

Koto picks up the seat. He thinks for a moment. He puts it downand sits on it.

"Okay... So... Sashi how are the repairs on the ship going... Did Hitomi ever send teams over... Or at least drones. Doctor... I really have to think of something better to call you... anyway we've not gotten a report on your progress on the work you are doing here from the Commission... Care to apprize... Hikaru and Koto... How are things going security and fleet-wise; also I'm looking for a large gun that is sort of like a sniper rifle... Getting the crap beat out of me has made me realize I need a second weapon; something that is for range; if I want to live long enough to annoy you all as an old hag.... Or could you help build something Doctor... is that something you do or are you a different kind of scientist?" Erin asked.

"Well, Most of the holes from the explosions have been faired over minus the starboard hanger bay, one of my magnetic rail cannons is pretty much scrap, I'm missing an engine and the FTL Powerplant module."

"The crews morale is currently at a high, mostly due to your recent performance, you're a role model to them." Koto sips his water. "As for security things are fine. They have adapted to the fact that I'm back, despite however many of them may not like it." He grins.(edited)

"Fleet security." Hikaru tapped his chin for a moment, his sister was usually the cag for the mech units. "The seeker sustained no damage, but the ship was hit pretty hard, we also only have like two mechs, and parts are starting to ware and tear."

"As for the rest of the fleet, I don't really leave the Lavi."

"Much of what I do is supposed to be theoretical engineering, when there is progress on it I will have a report. I am starting an experiment dealing with sustaining a laser at one spot indefinitely." owain nods a bit "I could help build a lot of things I just need to know specifics, do you need it portable or is it fine stationary." Owain Said
"We have six... three of them fly themselves..." Erin said handing Hikaru a roster. "I was asking your opinion; you must talk to more people than just Kiyo and I... but okay... and Cool... Thanks for the info you two." She said to Koto and Sashi after talking to Hikaru. She then nodded at Owain... “Stationary or something that I can move easily; a ranged gun that I can shoot; move, shoot... basically a sniper rifle... um... I hope that makes sense... I know a little about guns but with the people in the room... Nope... you all probably know more than I do." Erin replied.

Sashi tilts her head at this. "You know, I pretty much have enough guns to outfit an army or two sitting in the armory. You're welcome to help yourselves to it since the soldiers i once carried won't need those in the afterlife."
"Being spaced usually would end the need for guns unless a zombie army somehow becomes mentally competent and doesn't want to eat brains." Erin replied.

Koto raises an eyebrow at Erin. "What?"(edited)

"I mean... I talk to people..." Hikaru said as he sank slightly into his chair and looked at the pad. He really didn't.

"You'd be surprised at the amount of planetside fighting much less boarding actions that do happen." Murasashi shrugs.

"So... Wanna help me get a gun... and then do you guys want to go do something after that?" She asked seeming to want to make more friends.

"Gun i can help you with. I know guns." Hikaru said nodding. "You may want to check the armory first before you go and customize or build something. and are we talking bolt thrower or lazer?"

"I have nothing really better to do other than sit and twiddle my thumbs." Sashi says.

"I would like to return my project if at all possible."

Sashi is then reminded of one of her projects she was working on when she was in Confederate space.

"Something that shoots conventional grounds but powers them up with gem magic or lasers and stuff... Um; I probably sound irrational... If you don't want to help then okay Doc..." Erin said to Owain as she spoke to the rest of the group.

"Well this is a project I could work on if you want something different then the standard gun but if its just guns I am not much help." Owain said

"I'd be interested in gathering up a few firearms for a rainy day." Koto trails off into a daydream about guns. He quickly returns. "Ah, well those thoughts keep coming back..."

"I do want something different; something unique... Basically I want to be able to defeat enemies from range; I want it to work like a gun but... you know the whole stuff the commission does..."

"You said you needed assistants not that you wanted them to help... but yeah basically that is the idea; I actually called you to ask your progress... The whole me needing a gun was why I called the others."

"A ship has to be designed to go into orbit; if the Lavie isn't I doubt yours is... Well I will send another request to Hitomi to have more people sent ot fix you up; maybe get some repair drones sent over to speed things up; cant do much about your totalled gun and equipment but we can rebuild some of the systems. You might need a refit though... For that we'd have to get permission form Yuka and take you into a drydock at a starbase or fleet yard."

"Thing is, the holes that were patched are basically weak points since they're not really armored anymore. Which presents another issue. The composite armor relies mainly on Titanium and plates of depleted radioactive materials."

Aidan had worked out hard for about 15 minutes, his heart wasn't in it plus the last vestiges of the soreness from his recent injury still slowed him down. He walked into their quarters. "Still not up to par." He said, walking over and planting a kiss on Emily, "Gonna run through the rain locker." Aidan offered, grabbing a fresh pair of shorts and t-shirt.

Emily was going over some of the reports that Cameron had been compiling as she sat on the couch with one of the dog's heads in her lap which she petted it lovingly as she read. "You will get there soon enough, if you keep pushing yourself then it'll take longer." she pointed out to him after she returned the kiss. "Besides you're doing well as is."

"Hard to feel like I'll ever be good enough with all the enhanced beings fighting against us." Aidan offered.
"I'll stop whining and get in the shower," Aidan peeled off the sweaty clothing and recycled them. He left the door to the shower open. It was just a quick rinse and a shampoo. He toweled off and changed into the cotton fabrics he liked, and sat next to Emily the other dog jumping in his lap.

"Eh we could run into things like from an old movie series that I watched back in my old era called the Predator." Emily pointed out once Aidan was done with his shower and joined her on the couch. "Are we really going back to Earth, even in that shit storm that's brewing there?"

"It's probably why we are going. The President like to use us as her fire department, though I am getting sick of being someone's chew toy. I get it, it's a show of support for her side as we are her pet project within Trinity." Aidan said with genuine honesty.
"Plus showing up with Sashi and the Vanguard is going to be an even bigger display. They won't have to do the dirty work we will, but the backup is nice." he added.

Emily raised an eyebrow at Aidan. "And by doing this it's causing Yuka more and more stress which could wind up causing her to leave us in the end or doesn't Hukari see that?" Emily pointed out bitterly before she motioned at the the pile of PADDs. "Besides to be honest I wouldn't mind if Yuka transferred her flag over to the Vanguard for our trip to Earth...call me crazy but something about all of this is screaming trap."

Aidan grimaced at that. "No....arriving under a foreign flag is going to send the wrong message. Really she should be on the Providence. Which means I would take command here. No easy solution."
He threw the ball the dog brought across the room, making both beeline it for the traveling object. "I hate it as much as you do. Reminds me of when Ashaya went to the Academy. I had to threaten to resign my commission to keep her on Earth."

Emily had to blink at that name, "Who?" she asked honestly confused.

"My daughter. She just entered the Trinity Academy a few months ago. I forgot you don't know her. It is odd I feel so comfortable around you and Yuka?" He brought up a picture of Ayasha. Tall, angular features. She looked more like his wife that she did him, which he was grateful for.

Emily blinked as she didn't realize that she was going to be a step mom. "Does...does she know about me and Yuka yet?" she asked a bit nervously.

"She met Yuka and approved. They seemed to hit it off. Adding you to the equation is an unknown, but she's progressive, so....I think it'll be good. All she cares about is my happiness. Though she may grill you a bit. It's been so busy, I haven't talked to her in a few weeks." Aidan offered.

Emily nodded as she sat a PADD down and looked at Aidan. "Sorry, I just wasn't expecting to be a step mom...opens up massive new lines of questions."

Aidan laughed out loud. "She'd be the first to say, I'm a grown ass woman. Treat her like a sister, you'll be fine." Aidan patted her belly. "Besides, I thought this was what you wanted...mom." Aidan smiled at her. "She won't expect a mom. She has one."
Seeing her discomfort, his tone softened. "This is the curve ball for you, and we should have mentioned it sooner. She's 19, it's not like she's a toddler. All I care about it that we are happy together."

Emily blushed just a smidge. "It is...just wasn't expecting a step daughter that's all...just when I think my life is done surprising me."

"We could record her a video and send it to her. No pressure to meet her. Just a thought. " He lay his head in her lap, forcing her to move the padd. "As for life, I long ago stopped expecting straight lines and calm waters." He reached up and brushed a stray lock of her black hair behind her ear so he could see more of her eyes.

She couldn't help but laugh at that, "True, that might help. I just hope she doesn't find the cello playing, former assassin lover wife thing and mother of her her half sib isn't TOO weird." She teased.

Aidan chuckled, "At least she can't say her life is dull." He thought for a second. "I actually have her personality on file. You could even pre-meet her on the holdeck. Back when she was a kid, she missed me so much she asked that I make a holo-dad for when I was deployed. That hurt. But I asked her to create one for me when I felt lonely. I kept it updated until last year. She should have an academy psych profile online I could grab to add to the file."

Emily was silent for a bit before shrugging lightly. "I dunno... maybe some things are meant to be surprises?"

"Up to you." He replied.

(NOTE: Below is a summary of the plot for the month of April. Due to there being so many group posts I just merged all the briefs together and expanded upon them to give a summary of all the logs. There are still a number of one on one posts between members that need posted but GMs and players will do that soon. Sorry for the lack of update to the forum. Hopefully people can help the GMs by posting group chat logs more often.)

The New Universes: DFS Lavie

September 9th 4566

The forces of Trinity have been issued recall orders to Earth and have begun calling back all the personnel on leave. It would only be a matter of time now before the ship begins its long trek back to Earth Central Command. On the Lavie Erin Mizriki had completed all the work that Yuka Layton and Aidan Thornton had left behind while they were on leave. This would make the preparations to leave even less time consuming… With the crew on the ground back on board the ship they would be able to leave in a few hours at most as the Murasashi and Sentinel were being towed back to a Starbase with a Drydock for repairs following the battle on Kiru against the Imperial Remnants and their Space Weapon.



A few hours pass of preparations and a final night of leave for the fleet and then they leave Kiru heading back to Earth to meet up with the President's staff for a mission. The crew is in for a long trek back to Earth Central. Meanwhile back on the Earth the Senate has started to use its newfound powers to pull the wool over the citizen's eyes. This would leave to the creation of the Political Services Unit of Trinity and to my job. The Lavie was then magically taken to Earth by the intervention of a Q and his administering a “test” upon the fleet to see if they would respond compassionately to a ship that was left derelict in space. As a result of this intervention the Lavie also gains another crew member; Drass.



Shortly after their arrival at Earth a landing party and been sent to Earth and was attacked by an agent of the Senate whom was masquerading as a member of the President’s staff; this is where I was introduced into the story. Through an investigation conducted by the landing team and myself it was found that he is working for the Senate. It was decided by Central to begin an assault on the Senate Assembly on Mars. Trinity will be working with a few of the orbital defense ships which are still verified to be on the President's side and a new ship that had been found by the Providence. I was told to accompany them.



Upon arrival on Mars we prepare for an assault and Gainz joins the crew to engage in battle against the evil Senate insurgency.
